Dear Poe Middle School Parents, Students, and Staff,

The Region 2 Office is pleased to announce that Mr. Jason Pannutti has been named the new principal for Poe Middle School. His official start date will be October 1, 2018.

Mr. Pannutti is currently the principal at Bren Mar Park Elementary School where he has been the principal since 2014. Prior to his tenure at Bren Mar Park ES, he served as the assistant principal at Virginia Run Elementary and Mosby Woods Elementary from 2007-2013. Additionally, during the summers of 2012 and 2013 Mr. Pannutti served as an ESY Summer School principal. 

Mr. Pannutti brings many years of experience and knowledge as a result of his time at Bren Mar Park, Virginia Run, and Mosby Woods Elementary Schools where he analyzed and used data and worked with grade-level teams to embed high-leverage strategies to meet the needs of all students. Mr. Pannutti also formulated a professional learning model to develop teacher-leaders with an emphasis on high-performing sustainability within the school thus developing a culture of mutual respect and collaboration focusing on the 4 critical questions of a Professional Learning Community. Mr. Pannutti believes in working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure that the needs of the school, students, and community are met.

Mr. Pannutti holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He has also attained a Master of Education in Administration & Leadership from George Mason University.
